black baccara rose. These are so velvety.

Edit: Since I keep getting asked this I thought i'd just put this in here. The manager at the nursery i went to told me that these came from somewhere in Monterey and that only 250 of them were distributed to nurseries in the area. He informed me that they are going to be released in 2005 for purchase everywhere else. I don't know if this is true .. but this is what he told me

. These are not as big as my other roses they are only about 2/3 the size when fully bloomed and they don't smell as perfumey to me as my other roses. That's good for me because I think roses stink!

Heliotrope. . now there is a plant that smells good!
